Are You a Sh*tty Mom?

Now before you start shifting in your seat uncomfortably...... read on! I came across this book and almost peed my pants in the book store. Partially because of Adriana's birth but mostly because of how funny this book is!! Its an unconventional parenting book that probably relates to more moms than the real deal parenting books. The authors do not sugar coat things and have a humourous way of getting the message across to the readers.

This New York Times Best Seller was written by four moms - who have seen and heard it all when it comes to babies. The mix of communication skills and mommy smarts shows. It’s about shortcuts and parenting with 40% effort, but doing it well enough so that no one but you notices.
Laurie Kilmartin is an Emmy-nominated writer for CONAN on TBS, and, as a stand-up comedian, has appeared on CONAN, Last Comic Standing, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Comedy Central. She lives in Los Angeles with her son.
Karen Moline is a journalist and author who has written more than two dozen nonfiction books, as well as two bestselling novels. Karen and her son live in New York City.
Alicia Ybarbo is a five-time Emmy award–winning producer. She has worked on NBC’s TODAY show since 2000.  Her first book, “Today’s Moms:  Essentials for Surviving Baby’s First Year” was published by Harper Collins in 2009.  She lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
Mary Ann Zoellner  is a four-time Emmy award–winning producer and has worked at NBC news for 16 years.  Her first book, “Today’s Moms:  Essentials for Surviving Baby’s First Year” was published by Harper Collins in 2009.  She lives in New York City with her husband and two daughters.

This short read (just 176pages) is great for when your hiding in the bathroom with the door locked or in your bedroom under the blanket trying to drown out the crying, screaming, whiny coming from the little offspring you call Baby. Remember you're not alone! This book keeps us moms sane with quick witty humour about what it TRULY means to be a MOM. Glass House, Ladies and Gents. Soak it up because this is what you're in for as a parent.
Perhaps some of these "bad" habits that are mentioned in the book are at the top of your list too. Letting your baby play with toys during dinner instead of eating like the rest of the family - Big No No. Laugh away the stress with Sh*tty Mom for just $11.14 on Amazon.com
